A number of news media and picture sale agencies from everywhere came here to take part in the festival, And more than a hundred of institutions are also involved, there are several thousands of common audience also come here to take part in the festival.In the past four years, as the photography culture’s flourish development, Pingyao International Photography Festival showed it’s vitality more and more and it is famous for the domestic and overseas. Although the photography exhibition is the festival’s most important movement as before in this year. And it has more different views. In order to promote the photography culture’s transmitting and communication of domestic and overseas，we will construct a complete new Pingyao International Photography Festival to inspire all of the active aspects and we will also inspire the Persons in every fields to make full use of the advantages of historic cultural recourses of Pingyao through the great exhibition of the domestic and overseas excellent photography works. A platform for the photography’s communication was established for the photographers、Photo’s organizing agency、medium、other photography professors and the large amount of audiences. And then they can transmit and communicate the advanced cultures to devote their energy and time to raising Pingyao international Photography festival’s nameplate. In order to make the rare cultural industry more greater and more stronger in China’s photography field，The organizing committee of the exhibition prompted the works of several aspects as follows:

　　The first，to further confirm the exhibition purpose---Opening and Diversity. Pingyao international photography festival was established at the beginning of the 21 th century .In the old days, people had a good dream to organize the international exhibition into an absolute record, however, just as the globalization unification is not as well as they had prospected，in these years, all of the society、economy、politics and culture’s development have appeared the opening and variety tends more and more. In the view of that the organizing committee analyzed and concluded the exhibition’s situation seriously，after they took the suggestions of some experts and every part’s suggestions and advices Concerned，then they established the exhibition organizing aim ---Opening·variety”. And also make“civilization and development”as this exhibition’s main idea of this year according to this aim.

　　It is known that the Opening will mean the improvement extent of the nationalization. Variety means different styles of photography，which will reveal their own styles in the same platform，but we must clearly realize the truth that advocating the opening quality is not the same as indulging the exhibition’s contents and the confusion of every styles; to advocate the“variety”is not the same as that exhibition works which have no order and have no recognition. In verse, we just want to promote the photography culture’s communication and transmitting through advocating the exhibition’s Opening and Variety. And then further to advance our photographers’innovation mind in the photography concept and expressing ways so that Pingyao International Photography Festival become the“golden area”of the photographers of the world. At that time they can express their own photography ideals and photography fruits, which become the new photography platforms of the new photographers and new photography works.

The organizing committee of the festival and Pingyao county government planned and established the system of publicity and photo attraction. The Press Conference concerned exhibition was held in Paris of France and Dab an of Japan. In china, The exhibition lecture was held in shanghai. In Beijing , a curator discussion conference was held to make use of every opportunities and every kinds of medias to advertise the Pip’s new light pointsb in the world . PIPF committee took the suggestions and advices of every fields of the society, they improved a series of exhibition works including the exhibition attraction, exhibition organization and exhibition supervising works , they changed the negative exhibition into active and extensive one to widen the space and ways of bringing famous Art mastermind curators and the picture’s supervising agency to devote their energy to PIPF ,but also attracted some famous international enterprise’s involvement such as HACHETTE FILIPACCHI publisher、Hong Kong PHOENIXTV and China Mobile，they will sponsor a series of exhibitions art concerning movement with the exclusion of reporting this year’s exhibition all the way .

　　The third，To establish standardized organizing and operation process of the great festival. Every successful show of the great international cultural communication movement is connected with the coordination and working of every aspects, and the most important thing is to make sure that all the works concerned go well and orderly. And to avoid happening the confusion cases in the movements at the most limitation. The organizing committee of PIPF concludes the show works’experience seriously. They found that the exhibitions in the last years had a good result but it occurred some confusion situations to some different extent. How to avoid the situation in the future’s exhibition is a big challenge to Pingyao international photography organizing committee .The organizing committee held the meeting about the Festival’s organization and conducting works, they invited the scholars and experts to join in the conference. And they also raised the strict requirement for the workermen concerned the exhibition: they must set a enthusiastic service attitude and to develop the working style of squareness and the scientific supervising system.

　　We can’t deny that the scientific supervising system and the standardized supervising process are strange for people in the old days, including the supervisors and organizers in the Pingyao international photography festival, which is also one of the reasons that PIPF appeared some confusion situations. The organizing committee of this year’s festival concentrates their efforts to this problem. At first, to strengthen their professional work, and then to further understand the connotation and operation of the scientific supervising system and also to hold the series of work .The second, To hold an informal discussion together with the persons who had ever took part in the festival’s supervising work through the discussion, they will focus on every work during the festival and on other works before or after the festival. The third, To stop the shuffle working style to make every parts of the festival have a criterion working relationship with each other. Everything served the festival work to establish the festival’s standardized working process. The fourth, to make full use of every kind of modern network and communication means to strengthen the timely communication with the staff and information concerned with the festival and to establish the public platform for establishing the festival’s information operation. We should supervise and make use of the festival materials and information so that the festival’s information can transmit in expedites way and it can also share the information with other platforms. This year’s festival will be a review for the efforts we have made as the above.

　　The fourth, To bring into the curators’responsibility system.To establish the scientific supervising system is to solve the exhibition’s orderly operation and to provide the high quality service for the successful hold of PIPF, so that we can make a good exhibition atmosphere. And Pingyao international photography festival belongs to the great art exhibition movement after all, so we must admire its own special regular pattern. The organizing committee found that they must do the work according to art regular pattern if they want to hold the exhibition well. Just based as such a reorganization, this year, the organizing committee of PIPF decided to induct the curators’responsibility system completely, they will hand this exhibition to the experienced persons to mastermind who are master of the domestic and overseas photography resources，and that will lead them to understand the culture’s trend of the world. The organizing committee will make Pingyao International Photography festival become a national photography festival from2004, which can keep pace with the Photography Festival in other countries, it can share the exhibition resources with the international show filed.

　　The organizing committee and the Artistical committee arranged“The curator show space”specially, they invited more than ten curators through the recommendation and self-recommendation ways to form a curator organization, in this team, some curators are from overseas, and some are from China, some one are major curators in this festival, and some are working other field in the same time, all of them will bring into 80 photographers’works to show in the exhibition from the domestic and overseas. Of course, The organizing committee will not forget the passion of the photography lovers and their strong desire to Publicity their works in Pingyao Festival. In the same time, when arrange“the curators exhibition space”, they also arrange a“Non-curators exhibition space”, which can show the national photography lovers’works, and it is also a Pip’s photographers’“friendship club”. In the club, they can communicate with each other, they can prompt with each other, this club will gather a number of photography lovers together to hold a variety of activities so that strengthen the festival’s coherence. This year’s festival will inaugurate“the university exhibition space”, It’s the first time to hold the domestic and overseas students’works exhibition at the appointed time, there are the works full of university personality and livingness showed by the photography major’s students of more than ten universities from the world, which not only can express the newest teaching production, it also reflected their own teaching features, even more, they bring into the young and rebirth strength. At the same time, through the student works’exhibition, they construct a studying and communicating platform for the teachers and students from the world’s photography educational major so that we can have the opportunity to recept the different educational ideals and patterns in person so that we can promote the communication and coherence of the domestic and overseas educational and academic fields indeed and to promote the photography advanced education’s prosperity and development.The fifth，To Slide show Monographic Lecture and Present reward for photography campaigns. In order to thrive photography culture and promote the healthy development more of PIPF，Shanxi financial university decided to establish PIP study center in its media department, and also invited and attracted a large number of photographers、viewers、critics to involve the PIPF, they will deeply and extensively discussed the problems existed in photography exhibitions operation and development of the future，they will apply the study fruit to the future’s exhibition works and the school’s teaching. It will promote every movement’s development and the formation of the situation, the movement involved“production、study and learning”which will show more and more vitality and potential in the future’s PIPF.
