Born in 1954 in Zizhou, Shaanxi, Hui Huaijie, a member of Chinese Photographers Society and a member of Chinese Society of Art Photography, began professional photography at the beginning of 1980’s
Since 1990’s Hui Huaijie, has held more than 20 solo photo exhibitions in these regions and countries such as Beijing, Xi’an and Taiwan of China, Japan, France, the United States and Austria. His published thesis collection and albums have Aesthetics and Culture, Hukou Waterfall of Huanghe River, Loess Heaven, Hukou Waterfall of Huanghe River, Loess Plateau in West China, etc.
Hui Huaijie organized and planed such photographic cultural exchange activities as “Photographers Across the Straits Visit Hukou Waterfall,” “Huashan Mountain in Eyes of World’s Overseas Chinese,” “Open North Shaanxi,” and “Shaanxi Strides Across the Century.” He also supervised the publication of West Photography Newspaper and Shaanxi Strides Across the Century, an album.
His work Hukou Waterfall of Huanghe River is collected by the People’s Great Hall and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.
