Bao Lihui is a Chinese youth photographic artist and cameraman, who lives now in Kunming, China.
Mr. Bao applied himself to press documentary photography in recent years recording the herd of layfolks, marginals or non-mainstream people who lived in the lower classes. Traveling across India, Myanmar and West China, he made wide interviews. A large amount of photographic works were produced and published each year. The documentary woks named "At the Gate of Heaven" in the subject of patients at their deathbed, "Abstinence of Drugs" shot in the drug-relief reformatory, "Mass in the Village" shot in the village of Miao People in the mountain areas and "The Last Gammer with Tootsies " in the village of Lunan of Yunnan, caused great sensation when they were published and exhibited. Mr. Ya Nan, one of Chinese famous columnists, said: "Mr. Bao Lihuis photos opened out a real and larruping world for the human being." According to Mr. Sheldon, an U.S. famous artist, Mr. Baos works were so truthful and touching that they should be exhibited around the world to enable more people to know.
Mr. Bao Lihuis photos are greatly impressive with the images and humanism spirits. He has become one of the leading photographic artists in the Mainland China.
